Heh, I used to watch Buffy as well, entertaining indeed, – perhaps a little bit embarrassing one to admit. I wonder are you watching the subtitled or dubbed version there… Buffy and Spike speaking German would most likely sound both awesome and sligthly mind-twisting! Maybe a little less than John Wayne movie in Estonian but anyway.

No, seriously, I used to watch Buffy in German and thought “Well, it’s a bit cheesy, but…”.
Years later (now) I finally discovered the original series. It’s a COMPLETE different level. They managed to get really good speakers, but they didn’t translate the jokes very well…
That’s why I’m rewatching it in english now!:)
