My english-speaking pals. This strip, I must admit, is more enjoyable when you know about the German TV programme “Die Sendung mit der Maus” (The programme with the mouse).
I’m pretty sure that 99% of the German population know this show. It’s a classic.
Before freelancing as an illustrator I was working (oh surprise) in animation for quite a while. And I assisted in animating the little blue elephant who’s the Mouse’s best friend. Check out this clip if you want to watch one of the spots I’ve been working on-
Obviously I concentrated on drawing big grey elephants, but I still love the little blue one, too!:)
