I’m sure I’m not the only one familiar with the the ambigous antdepressant effects of chocolate? Just today I devoured a significant amount of Ben&Jerry’s and M&M’s. German springtime being incredibly grey and cold doesn’t help…
But now to something more amusing!
I just wanted to share one of my latest favourite comic purchase with you. It’s a comic which is one trillion times more popular than mine, but if there’s ONE person who doesn’t know it yet, please go and read it!!!
I’m talking about DAR: A Super Girly Top Secret Comic Diary by the lovely Erika Moen, in particular the second printed volume of DAR which just came out last month!
She does such a wonderful job in evoking empathy for her characters, you get sucked into her world immediately!! All her stories are deeply authentic and sincere. And these seem to be stories which always work best with me!
DAR ended, but Erika seems to have some new projects in planning stage. I’m very curious to see what she’ll do next. In the meantime, there are a dozen of DAR’s I can browse through again and again and again…:)
