The Proof

The Proof

Believe me, I know that this particular strip doesn’t necessarily advance the plot of the storyline, but there are certain things a cartoonist NEEDS to draw!!!
Honestly, what if I couldn’t satisfy my nerdy needs in my own little comic strip…:)

This time I especially would like to thank fellow reader Ivan Arguello from Mexico who kindly helped me with the Spanish translation. There wouldn’t be any “chicas barbonas” without him! Muchas gracias! :)

If anybody likes to know, El Fungo’s adversary was inspired by THIS very old anime series I used to watch as a kid. It’s a miracle I still had this buried in my subconcious while creating this strip.:)

I love that the pony is wearing a mask too :) Question is, is he wearing it in support of El Fungo, or has he just come back from a date? ;)

A very good observation! Well, I guess, that would be Buttercup’s secret!:D

is it just me or did you use the picture of him tackleing the elephant form the last comic you made but just turend him a little?

    • admin says:

@Valentine: Haha, no, I usually don’t copy paste (only did it twice in the entire comic). There only aren’t so many different ways for me to fit Ngumbe into the panel.:)

Si, las Chica Barbonas! Las mujeres mas hermosas de todo Mexico!

Also, like all Mexican magazines, this one randomly has a random Chupacabra alert at the bottom.
