This storyline starts here!
Translated by Joey THE Timberwolf.
It has been a while since I’ve been completely without access to the digital or virtual world. I shiver even thinking about it…XD
Jörg says:
Well, actually I really try to fit in a day or two here and there where I can be without ZE internets! Yes, I know, totally radical plan.
On a different note: I’m trying to catch up here with my work and with translating the new strips, so I hope you folks keep coming back to read them! Wait till you see the… uhm, cute, animals.
Meanwhile, have a good week y’all!

The horror! Your tale of digital loss was terrifying. Such atrocities should not exist in the modern world. Curse nature!
As someone who left the house once without my smart phone, I can relate.
‘Without internet’? Ummm… what’s that?
That is like being in Starbucks to just have the beverage… without staring at the… thingy that does… uh, YOU KNOW WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT.
Buttercup is sleeping like Snoopy. XD Totally awesome~!
my hubby just *updated* our phones to the *smart ones*. (sigh) I mean, I was totally cool with the trac phone that I have, I UNDERSTAND it… I am able to make calls home from Minot North Dakota on it. I hear about all of these *apps* and I have not a clue what an App is, how to down load one or if I am being charged for it. I have now, 4 devices that I can access the internet from. FOUR! and three of them are totally portable. (of course the smart phone will last about 2 days on the battery, ) the mini me as we call it, (netbook) can last for 6 hours of continual use and the lap top about 15- But I am not so addicted to face book that I MUST check in my status every two miniutes. and I don’t have a twitter account. I don’t think I am missing anything by not tweeting “I am changing my socks now” or ” I had a hersheys Ice cream pie for breakfast, yum.”
the worst we had was duing the summer when a storm knocked the power lines down for 4 days, we went to the local Panaras coffee house and took the lap tops to connect with the world. For lights we brought in a few of the solar lights and placed them around so we wernt scaring eachother in the dark. there is alot of usefull info on the internet, and some, not so useful. Its lost it’s mystique – most of what you read is someone elses opinion, or, cartoons (love them) and anything else is just poofy. Like, the Kindal that you can down load off of amazon.com, which comes with three free books. it took weeks to get through pride and prejuduce on kindle, but if I had the 210 page book, probably a day. go figure clicking could be such a bad thing…
My phone is from the 90′s i think…
Keep it as long as possible, Valentine! If it still works, it’s perfect.
Today i went to a shopping centre and when i walked in i saw this huge line of peopel with some security gaurds around and i asked the closest one whats going on and all these people were waiting for the new Iphone why do would some one wait so long for a phone? like i said before my phone is from the 90′s and i love it I’m startign to think that phones are ecoming a fashion accesory and less like a well…a phone you know what i mean?
“I am able to make calls home on it.” I totally love that, kath, as if you have to excuse yourself nowadays that you just want to use it as a… well, phone. You know what? I even leave my phone at home from time to time because I don’t want to be disturbed.
