Gueststrip by Arne
Wooohoooo! I’m a superhero!!!
Thanks to fellow Arne Schulenberg I can finally show the world my Superukulelepowers. Believe me, I can fend off every enemy by playing “King Of The Road” in a 2-hour loop. And not only enemies…
In case you don’t know Arne and his work (which seems hard for me to believe), I’d advice you to take a look at his Union Of Heroes webcomic. It’s a photo comic… And it’s really brilliant!
Honestly, I’m always skeptical about photo comics, but he totally won me over.
Yet another proof that all you need is good storytelling. ![]()
And surely his artwork is impressive too. He never takes the topic too seriously and his approach strikes me as very professional!
So, go and read his comic! You won’t regret it!!!

Artist’s Face! Una Fantasma Horrible!
Naw, is kyoot :3
rawk on!
Stay tuned for the next thrilling episode: “The return of…” err, maybe, under certain circumstances, we have a little problem now! Would it be Ukulelegirl or Pasta-Girl? Good question!
I think Uke-Girl is Pasta-Girl’s long lost twin sister who’s waiting to take revenge on Mind-Boggler for the humiliation he dealt to their family a looooong time ago! Oh the horror…
Maybe it’s the origin of Pasta-Girl. After the tragic incident that left her without a ukelele, she was forced to don a new identity, for the safety of her friends, and perhaps to forget the tragedy we’ve yet to see. Just what did happen to the poor ukelele?
If we look at the costume of Pasta Girl (http://www.unionderhelden.de/comic/279-guest-artist-sarah-burrini.html?no_cache=1&L=2) we can spot two “U” on it. MissHedgey, maybe you are right, and the letters are are a memory to glorious past times!
Or it stands only for “Union of Heros”, the Comic were she has a guest apperance.
Oh and I forget: In Union of Heroes exists a character called the Nordstadt-Barde, who uses a magic guitar to fight evil. Could Ukulele Girl be his sidekick?
Hula Hula Girl to the rescue!
