Haha… Apparently, this happens to Sarah all the time. True story.
Are your parents tech noobs and you have to help them with the computer almost every time you are at their house?

I do KNOW this.
Because I work as an IT pro, I am supposed to always have miracle 5′ solutions.
I am not God, obviously, but they do not understand… Why ?
(This rethoric question do not require any answer but 42)
Rémy
Gods below! I am quite familiar with this, although being paid would be a nice change.
Some times I wish I told my family I cook the french frys at McDonald’s instead of telling them I knew something about computers.
To answer your question. Yes. My mother goes as far as bringing several laptops, iPods and kindle stuff over when she visits me.
lol Fortunately for me, my dad has a Master’s degree in technology. He still doesn’t really understand it, but he can use it well enough.
My (ex)friend on the other hand… Well… She called me over one day in hysterics because her computer was “broken”–her friend April had BROKEN her computer and now she couldn’t get into it. So, I sit down at her computer and start booting it up. Everything boots up fine. She logs in fine. The web browser loads fine. I’m like “Everything looks fine, what was broken?” She said, “go to Facebook!” I go to Facebook, and it’s logged in under April’s name. “See!? See!?” my (ex)friend said. “I can’t get into it! It’s broken.”
I was like, “Ok, so let me get this straight… You’ve been hard-rebooting your computer for the past two hours because you wanted to log into Facebook?”
*facepalm*
my dad seems to know lees and less about computers and my mom and sister know nothing about computers
Exactly the same here, with the added difficulty that they want to stick to their old computer, so the OS is getting old, so Firefox (etc.) won’t upgrade anymore and it’s harder and harder to use some websites….
Tougher and tougher everytime!
Hi everyone, as the official translations are taking some time, I have added Fansubs in the comments over on the German edition. The only one I skipped is the “Commedia dell’ Arte”. Feel free to go there, suggest improvements to my translation etc.
I just read your Fansubs, they hit the spot quite well.
The “Commedia dell’ Arte” comic is a highly political comic with lots of reference to the current political situation in Italy. The strip is worthy to have been published in any major newspaper in the politics section but I, too, do not dare to make a translation here. Also worth reading is Sarah’s blog entry to that strip and the post from “Cliffhanger” in the comments.
