Just wanted to share this, because I’m always terribly impressed by their huge amount of creative output. It’s already inspiring just reading their blog entries! Hopefully, I’ll visit them again next year. Can’t wait for it!!:)

Well, Ngumbe has a true artist’s soul, what do you expect? Of course, as you probably suspected, Ngumbe reflects a certain side of my own personality (as well as all the other characters) and I wouldn’t stand a single chance in a serious fight against an ant.
But I have the ability to hurt others physically by accident. Does that count?!

Hey ho!
Everybody who thought Ngumbe’s romance had a tragic end, there’s still HOPE!!!

In case you’re wondering about the strange name of his love interest, “Shu Thu Zar” means “beauty queen” and she’s another inhabitant of the Cologne Zoo.

Ngumbe got to know her during his “Free Ngumbe” adventure and is obviously still very interested in her.

Oh, I just wanted to let you know that I integrated a “search function” in the right sidebar. And from now on I’ll give my strips “tags”, so that you can find them more easy.

I think everything which could be said about Avatar has already been said.
Although…

Of course I couldn’t avoid seeing it and I’m not regretting it. My opinion about it correspond to the little elephant’s one and I’m okay with it.
Only a couple of days later I watched District 9 and was a bit surprised how similar the stories were (they even both had a Mecha fight at the end ). I have to say that I felt much more involved with the characters in District 9 and I really couldn’t foresee the ending (contrary to Avatar).
That surely is just my opinion, but I thought this was an interesting example on how differently two stories can be told which are practically the same.
Just my 50 cents…:)
